I am a retired construction superintendent looking for high-tech, power generation, high-rise, or other interesting projects for one month to one year missions. Pay negotiable, would consider investing in a startup company or working for stock options in lieu of salary.

I have over thirty-five years of construction experience. Thirty-one of those years were spent working for the largest Oregon-based key employee owed general contractor.

I served as Field Engineer and as Project Engineer on several projects including the First Interstate Tower in Portland; the U.S. National Bank Operations Building in Portland; Longview Fibre paper mill expansion in Longview; the Providence Medical Center in Portland; the Boeing Company office buildings in Everett, Washington; the Portland Building; and area Superintendent on the major expansion of the large sawmill and plywood plant for International Paper Company at Gardiner, Oregon.

I was promoted to Project Superintendent on the 11-story Park Place Condominium project in Portland, and have served as Project Superintendent on several major projects since that time including the total remodel of the 162-unit Park Haviland Hotel in Portland, the 30-story PacWest Center high-rise office building in Portland, the 18-story One Financial Center and the 23-story 1000 Broadway high-rise office building in Portland.

I excel in scheduling, coordinating and managing all disciplines of a major construction project. I work very closely with all subcontractors to make certain that they have their materials on the job when required, that they are aware of when they are scheduled to perform their work, and I see to it that they have the opportunity to complete their contract timely and, profitably. I work exceedingly well with the Owner and others I am associated with.

I have an excellent safety record and have won numerous safety awards for projects without lost time accidents. I won the first construction industry award for recycling, the Recycling Achievement Award.
